Does anyone have resource materials (e.g., books) detailing early families and/or history of Chatham?
I'm interested in the Hinckley (Hinkley) family that may have settled in Chatham in the 17th century.

You should try the bound genealogical records and William C. Smiths "History of Chatham, both available at the Chatham Historical Society's books store.
